OUR PHILOSOPHY AND APPROACH
We do believe that a sustainable living for all could be created only through balancing human, nature and the built environment. Therefore, the meaning of Urban Environment that we use herein covers not only natural environment, but also socio-economic and the built environment. Without taking into account these three crucial components, we will not be able enrich a sustainable living environment.
Our planning approach is holistic, encompassing 3C pillars of integrated planning, which are: institutional collaboration, spatial connection, and knowledge combination.
Institutional COLLABORATION can be reached through strengthening partnership among Public, Private, People, Professional, and development Partner, so called 5P partnership.
In the context of economically globalization and culturally localization, spatial CONNECTION is to ensure intra and inter relation among settlement units from micro level of neighborhood to micro level of region in order to economically and socially cooperate for mutual benefit while maintain self identity.
Knowledge COMBINATION is harvesting and applying frontier knowledge of different fields in searching for a sustainable way of using natural resource and preserving local and global environment.
